Safelists - an update

Some posts ago I wrote about safelists. I have been using them for some months and I am getting consistent results. Overall I am getting a 0.2% conversion rate. Doesn't sound much but it has equated to over 70 program signups. I spend about 15 minutes a day on it so it is worth doing.

I send out to around 19,000 people on my lists every 3 days.

Track your Traffic Exchanges from One Program

I have been using a program Called TECommand Post for some time. This program allows you to manage your credits, banners and text ads for up to 999 programs from one set of dynamic report pages.

I am sold on this as it saves me hours every week.

One of the advantages for me is that I can find where I have unassigned credits, banners and texts across hundreds of my programs. I checked today and I found tens of thousands of banner ads that I had not assigned.

I use the tool daily and assign credits from the 10 sites that have the most unassigned.

Recommendation Number One for a free Traffic Exchange (TE) is StartXchange.

This program has been operational for over six years and the owner Tim Linden is the best, and most responsive TE owner around. I have been an upgraded member there since the beginning and I can't tell you how many of the signups to my programs come from there, but it is in the thousands.


And to top it off Tim has recently added a revenue stream so you can earn cash from your downline. You get 5% as a free member up to 20% for Platinum members. Doesn't sound like much, but I make far more from the 20% on this top program than I do from others who pay 50%. I love those regular cash commissions coming into my Paypal account!!

Traffic Exchanges for Free Advertising

Traffic exchanges are programs that allow you to view other people sites in exchange for visits to your own sites. The ratios change between programs but are usually in the ratio of view 2 and get one view of your site. The good thing is that Traffic exchanges are free and allow you to build a net profile. If you upgrade then you will be able to get a 1:1 ratio which gets your pages seen more often.

I have found that StartXchange, EasyHits4U, WebBizInsider and Lords-of-Traffic have been the top performers.
