Brand Yourself

One of the first things you need to learn is how to brand yourself. The best way of doing this is to have your photo on your websites and to cultivate a web persona. If you advertise a generic program referral URL, you get no individual brand building. In fact this can work against you. Others may see your site as the one before they make a decision, so someone else can benefit from your hard work.

Make your own splashpage and embed your URL links within it. Every time they see your page, they see your face, and if they are interested in your program they will click through.

I have found TEToolbox run by Tim Linden to be the most useful splash page maker. You also get stat tracking by joining his program.

It is an interesting fact that when people look at a web page, the first thing that will draw their attention, is a face. This is a hard-wired behavioral response.

Happy marketing
